Callbook is an appointment-scheduling and AI answering service used by local home-service businesses. This page describes Callbook’s SMS (text message) program and how consumers consent to receive messages, in line with carrier (CTIA) and A2P 10DLC requirements.

Who sends messages and who receives them

Messages are sent by Callbook to consumers who have contacted, booked with, or requested service from a business that uses Callbook. Every message identifies Callbook. We only message people who have directly interacted with a Callbook-powered business — we never message purchased, rented, or shared lists.

What messages we send

The program sends transactional and conversational messages about your interaction, including:

  • Appointment confirmations and reminders
  • Estimate and invoice links
  • Post-service review requests
  • Replies from Callbook’s scheduling assistant when you text or after a missed call

How you consent (opt in)

You opt in to receive these text messages when you provide your mobile number to a Callbook-powered business for service, including when you:

  • Book a job or request service through Callbook;
  • Request an estimate or invoice;
  • Call or text the business’s published phone number, which is answered by Callbook.

By providing your number for one of these purposes, you agree to receive text messages from Callbook about that request. Consent is not a condition of any purchase.

Message frequency & rates

Message frequency varies based on your activity (for example, a confirmation, a reminder, and replies to your questions). Message and data rates may apply.

How to opt out or get help

Reply STOP to any message to opt out and stop receiving texts. Reply HELP for help, or email support@getcallbook.com.
