Call screening is the process of evaluating an incoming call to figure out who is calling and why before anyone commits real attention to it. For a trades business, that means sorting a burst pipe from a robocall from a vendor's sales pitch in the first few seconds of contact, rather than treating every ring as equally urgent.

How it works
